As a result of these offensive remarks, Adidas ended their partnership with Ye, leading to a significant loss in his net worth. It is estimated that he lost approximately $1.5 billion due to the fallout. Other brands, including Balenciaga, also severed ties with the rapper.
Ye’s controversial statements extended beyond his public appearances. He took to social media, writing an Instagram post that hinted at Sean “Diddy” Combs being controlled by Jews, which resulted in restrictions being placed on his account.
Furthermore, Ye appeared on a podcast where he repeated his accusations against the “Jewish media” and “Jewish Zionists” who, according to him, played a role in canceling his shows. The fallout from these comments continues to impact his career and public image.
