Analysts’ Views on the Contract Extension
Raymond James analyst Brian Gesuale expressed optimism about the contract extension, describing it as a “chill pill” for those concerned about the future of this partnership. Gesuale believes that this win aligns with expectations and provides the Army with another year to establish a structure for a successor multi-vendor contract. He rates Palantir’s stock as outperform.
On the other hand, William Blair analyst Louie DiPalma, who holds a bearish view on the stock, offered a more cautious perspective. DiPalma highlighted that Palantir did not receive a new four-year commitment this time. Instead, the Army plans to split the Vantage platform into pieces and award a multivendor contract as part of its “phase 3” plans.
