Algorand’s recently hired national head for India, Anil Kakani, emphasized that the company wants these partnerships to have a long-lasting impact. “We aspire to take a lead role in India and around the world in powering solutions that may increase access to essential services such as finance, healthcare, education, and more,” Kakani added.

Algorand is looking at chances with new companies in India in addition to the education industry. The company has teamed up with T-Hub, a Hyderabad-based innovation hub, to support local companies in obtaining funding from around the globe and expanding their programs internationally.

The Clinton Foundation and the Algorand Foundation have teamed together as a technology partner for the latter’s recently launched Global Climate Resilience Fund. The fund will assist regional businesses in locating carbon markets and monetizing carbon credits, enhancing India’s quality of life overall.
